I’m Julia Limoncelli (like the drink but with an “i”) and I’m a Chicago-based actor, born and raised in the Chicago burbs. I received my BFA in Musical Theatre from Viterbo University and, shortly after graduating, I worked for Disney Cruise Line as a Mainstage Performer. Since returning from ship life, I’m very excited to be back in my favorite city!

I have been lucky enough to perform with companies such as Citadel, Oil Lamp, and Peninsula Players. In 2024, I received my first Jeff Nomination (Performer in a Principal Role - Musical) for Griffin Theatre’s production of The House Without a Christmas Tree (Book by Bill Massolia and Music by George Howe).

I’m passionate about spreading laughter and joy throughout my artistic endeavors, whether playing the soprano ingénue or an eccentric oddball. Growing up, music and acting were how I learned to express myself and connect with the people around me. I have a strong desire to share the superpower of live performance and inspire healing through artistic connection.
